Tighmert is a village of around 2,500 souls and is located 18 km southeast of the city of Guelmim, with one of the largest palm groves in Morocco which extends for almost 10 km. This oasis of character has preserved a traditional way of life, where man lives in symbiosis with the natural resources of the oasis and manages to manage the most precious commodity: water.
