LANDROVER

The Landrover Defender and to a lesser extent the Landcruiser pick-up are part of the daily lives of nomads in the Guelmim-Oued Noun region. He even sings on the Landrover as a family member. Many of these old Defender Landrover can still be seen at the Saturday camel market AMHAYRICH in Guelmim. Nomads transport their sheep, goats and camels to the market. In times of drought, the food of camels and sheep must be supplemented, among other things, with alfalfa. Lucerne bales purchased from the market are loaded onto the roof and sometimes young animals are brought back with them.
